Jiten K. Goradia is an IT
and management professional with over 23
years of experience. A graduate from Bombay
University, with post-graduate qualifications
in both IT and Marketing Management, he
has undergone several other advanced courses
both in India and overseas.
As a software systems analyst
programmer in 1981-1982, he was responsible
for leading a large team of Indian IT professionals,
which designed, developed and implemented
the first English-Arabic software system
to computerize the entire ministry of Labour
for the Government of Bahrain from 1984-1986
on the IBM mainframe 4341 computer. Moving
on from pure software development to IT
consulting, marketing and strategy, he has
worked closely with several large organizations,
like PAR, Wipro, Tangerine, the Singapore
based mega-IT conglomerate, the Thakral Group,
and was the CEO and Executive Director of
karROX Technologies, which he gave up in
2002 to commence consulting. He was the
Principal Consultant and Regional Director
(West) to the Indian arm of the Wigan and
Leigh College UK, and has traveled extensively.
